Poly Metronome is a powerful tool that can greatly enhance your practice sessions and stage performances. At the core of this app lies an incredibly precise, studio-quality metronome. With its array of unique features such as subdivisions and polyrhythms, Poly Metronome is designed to help you improve your music skills. You can create complex patterns using triplets, dotted notes, and even non-standard time signatures. Additionally, the app allows you to set different subdivisions per beat and save your favorite practices using the coach and automator modes.

The Poly Metronome offers several ways to experience beats. The free version of the app includes sound, visual, flash, and vibrate modes. With the pendulum on the screen, you can visually see the beats displayed graphically. Visual and vibrate modes are particularly useful for musicians playing loud instruments or when it's necessary to truly feel the beat. Flash mode utilizes the camera flash on your device to easily sync up with the rest of the band.

One standout feature of Poly Metronome is its Coach Trainer. This feature allows you to mute a selected bar in the beat, which helps train your innate sense of timing by allowing your brain to fill in the gap.

In addition to its various features, Poly Metronome also offers multitasking support on iPad (slide over and split view) as well as a dark and light appearance option.
